As part of our Great Fire of London topic, we designed and made some bread rolls like the ones Thomas Farrinor made in his pudding lane bakery. First we drew what our bread would look like and practised shaping it using salt dough. We followed a recipe to make the dough then added our own ingredients and shaped the bread. It cooked for 15 minutes in the oven. We tasted and evaluated our rolls. Most of them were a great success!

As part of our RE curriculum, we learn about other faiths. This week we have been learning about the Hindu faith. We tried a range of activities to teach us about the faith and some of its celebrations. These included Indian dance, hand painting, tasting Indian food and making rakhi bracelets. We also learnt about how Hindus pray at home.
