Y3 visited Claremont Farm. Our ‘Welly Walk’ took us on a super learning journey, where we found out all about the different types of fruits that are grown on the farm. We were especially delighted when we tasted the different varieties of strawberries grown there. Using fruit and vegetables grown on the farm, we cooked our own delicious lunch! A fantastic day was had by all!
As part of St Helens 150th anniversary celebrations, Y3W were lucky enough to have the opportunity to take part in the ‘St Helens Heritage Animation Workshops’. We worked in small groups and made short animated films. A professional animation company called Animation Nation brought all the special equipment.
Our films were all about significant events in the History of St Helens over the last 150 years. Watch some of our films!
