Y4CG has recently completed a Pobble writing task.

The children wrote a story all about time travel and their plot twists included becoming pilots and spies during World War II. I was super proud of all of the children’s efforts!

It was a really hard decision to choose two children to become our class’ first published authors as everyone’s writing was so creative and imaginative. A huge congratulations to Megan and Olivia! Here’s their writing pieces:

All of the children are even more motivated with their writing and love having a real audience to share their work with. It is our class aim to publish everyone’s work for the world to see;  we are super ambitious!

Before Christmas, the children are going to be taught how to peer assess and how to use the Pobble website. They will have their own login to explore wonderful writing ideas and celebrate their own and  friends’ writing. In the meantime before login details are sent home, the children will be writing some poetry and recounts in class. Let’s hope lots are published on Pobble!

A massive thanks to parents who have created their own personal accounts to support their children and their classmates. I hope you have enjoyed reading their work as much as I have.

Note for children: Please remember to return your Pobble permission slips so that your work can be uploaded throughout the year.
