On Friday our year 6 children were lucky enough to meet and question some professionals about their careers and what is needed to achieve their chosen profession. The children were very interested and asked lots of questions. We thank all of the professionals for offering us their time.

Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed PGL with their friends. Excellent team work and behaviour was displayed. The children did the school proud! Their enthusiasm and encouragement for their friends was excellent! It was lovely to see after all of the hard work the children have put in over the year. 🙂

The NSPCC visited our class today to talk about keeping ourselves safe and speaking out if we have any worries. Child line is available 24/7 so we always have somebody to talk to day or night.

The Y6 children had a Harry Potter themed morning. The children where set into their houses by the ‘Sorting hat’ – Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. They then took part in a Quidditch tournament. The children where very enthusiastic and enjoyed learning the rules of the game. The Outdoor learning team commented on how amazing the children where with their positive attitude and healthy competitiveness. The winning house of the day was…Hufflepuff! Well done to all in the Hufflepuff house.

Y6CG celebrated completing their SAT’s by having a ‘bouncetastic’ time on the inflatable obstacle course. The children thoroughly enjoyed their time with their friends. It was a well deserved treat after all the hard work the children have put into their SAT’s and a big thank you from all the staff for all their effort.

Today the children took part in Spirituality Day. Throughout the day, they moved around the school to complete different activities and visited our church discovering new ways to talk to God and develop their own personal ways of praying.
