During Holy Week, the children and their families, along with staff and governors, were invited to take part in a number of activities, including KS1 Easter Bonnet Parade, Easter Stay and Pray, Stations of the Cross, Quiet Prayer for KS2 and also a viewing of ‘Miracle Maker’ (an animation of the Easter story).

All activities were well attended and really helped everyone to focus their thoughts during this important season.

    Spirituality Day Heading

As part of our Holy Week reflections and activities, we held our very first whole school ‘Spirituality Day’ on Maundy Thursday. Every teacher, Mrs Ashton and Mrs Murphy ran a different prayer activity for the children to take part in, showing different ways we can pray and reflect, and also the different reasons why we pray. The children moved around the  activities . It was a great day! Take a look at the class blogs to see lots of pictures of the day…
