On Tuesday 30th January we officially celebrated the opening of our school Nursery. Archbishop Malcolm McMahon took time out of his busy schedule to visit school on this important day. He unveiled our memorial plaque and cut the ribbon with the children onto the outdoor classroom.
We were honoured to have a number of special guests at this event including Governors, the Archdiocesan Schools’ Officer Mr Chris Williams and our Architects from Cunliffes who were responsible for drawing up all the plans for the adaptation of the school.
Archbishop Malcolm and Father Dooley prayed a special prayer of blessing over our new venture. It was a wonderful celebration and the children were a credit to themselves, their parents and our school.
