Pilgrims of Hope

2025 will mark 60 years since the second Vatican Council, or Vatican II. The theme is Pilgrims of Hope.

In preparation for this, we have been asked to participate in a year of prayer during 2024. In getting back to basics, we have been asked to focus on The Our Father. Pupils will be given opportunities to pray and reflect on The Our Father throughout the year.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power and the glory,
For ever and ever.
